Allstar "Canada Hub" on AllStar - node
Hey Andre VE3SP, thought you would like to know about this:
Canadian Hams: Announcing "Canada Hub" on AllStar - node 51730, sponsored by the North Fraser Amateur Radio Club (node 450520).
All operators and nodes worldwide are welcome to connect, but the goal is to bring together as many Canadian repeaters and operators as possible in a similar way to the UK's "Hubnet" and others.
It will take a while to gain momentum, but we expect it to become a popular place for nets (a trivia net is planned) and other activities.
Please connect and say hello and feel free to stay connected.

For fun I recently signed up for AllStar Link. The Introduction Email referenced a Web Transceiver, however when I clicked on the Web Transceiver page I received the following warning:
As best I can tell, the Web Transceiver doesn't work. Is it permanently broken/dead?

| *NOTE* The WebTransceiver is based on Java, so it probably will not work!! At this time, there is no realistic method to fix this. You are more then welcome to attempt to see if you can get it to work, but if it doesn't, don't be surprised. We know it's broken. You don't need to tell us. Please don't ask for any support regarding this, as there is nothing we can tell you that is likely to be helpful. |
