This is a brief tutorial on how to install Allmon2
Allmon 2 can be found here https://github.com/tsawyer/allmon2
download using
wget https://github.com/tsawyer/allmon2/ar...
unzip the folder using unzip

For Dial users you will want to install the following
apt-get install apache2 php5 libapache2-mod-php5 php5-mcrypt

after installing the above line
visit /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
example cd /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/
ls should read this 000-default.conf
nano 000-default.conf

For fun I recently signed up for AllStar Link. The Introduction Email referenced a Web Transceiver, however when I clicked on the Web Transceiver page I received the following warning:

Quote:

*NOTE* The WebTransceiver is based on Java, so it probably will not work!! At this time, there is no realistic method to fix this. You are more then welcome to attempt to see if you can get it to work, but if it doesn't, don't be surprised. We know it's broken. You don't need to tell us. Please don't ask for any support regarding this, as there is nothing we can tell you that is likely to be helpful.

As best I can tell, the Web Transceiver doesn't work. Is it permanently broken/dead?

Configuring Java for use with the Allstar Web Transceiver

The Allstar Web Transceiver is written in Java and requires that Java is loaded on your computer to
function. Since Java has been associated with many security issues the Java team has upped the
security level in recent releases (2015). Because of this the Web Transceiver will not function without
some additional security configuration in the Java control panel.

This following is configuration instructions for MS Windows, for Mac OSX please skip to page 11.

First make sure you have the latest Java. The download site is:
